The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
Chris Gardner is a loving father and husband who is trying his hardest to make ends meet. He sells bone density machines (a get rich quick idea) to medical clinics around San Francisco but encounters one major problem, nobody wants to buy one. One day he decides to shoot for the stars and try to get a job that he’s majorly under qualified for. This film is the story of his journey thru struggle and triumph and the love he has for his son.

This was a heart-touching film about the love of a father and son and a man who is so desperately just trying to keep his head above water. You’ll both laugh and cry as you watch their journey.
Who would I recommend this to? I would say this is a family movie. I would see no problems in watching it with your kids. It’s rated PG-13 due to some foul language but I can actually only think of a couple times that was an issue. This really is a film for anyone and everyone.
Would I watch this again? Probably not, but I’m glad I watched it the first time, it was well worth the 2 hrs.
